Jason Kornweiss is the Vice President and General Manager of the Emerging Technology and Solutions practice for Diversified. He specializes in strategic partnerships and provides thought leadership for Diversified’s global media and entertainment initiatives. His expertise is focused on delivering forward looking solutions to clients by preparing them for next generation technologies through implementation and process.

Prior to joining Diversified, Jason was Vice President of Global Media Operations for Comcast NBCUniversal for 21 years. He has led numerous global events for NBC, including 10 Olympic
Games, 3 Super Bowls, and multiple prime time national live broadcasts. In his last engagement, he designed and re-built NBC’s 30 Rock Broadcast Operations Center, enabling
integrated media and live production playout from a single platform, collapsing multiple operational and technical workflows into an efficient, consolidated technical operation servicing both NBC and Telemundo and their affiliates.

Jason has expertise in cloud-based and linear automation technologies, network-affiliate distribution, and connectivity solutions and has led deployment, service and support teams for
hundreds of affiliates and MVPDs in his career. He has been recognized with both an Emmy Award for Studio Technology during the Olympics and a Broadcast Engineering Excellence award for station automation, and brings with him a comprehensive understanding of end-user operational needs.
