Senior Production Designer
Seth Easter is production designer for broadcast news, live performance and large-scale televised events. With over fifteen years of experience in the field, his work is known for embracing the latest technology and the use of video as scenery. His work has been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards and an Art Directors Guild Award. As Senior Production Designer for ABC News, he has designed every news program on ABC, most recently designing and overseeing construction of the new “TV 3” Studio, a major project that spanned over a year. The new studio is now the “home base” from which ABC covers all major events. Easter’s innovative applications of technology in the space has also allowed it to be used flexibly for multiple special events. Easter’s other projects range from the Tony Awards to Royal wedding coverage to The Oscars Red Carpet. Other notable designs include Harry Connick Jr.'s run at the Neil Simon Theater on Broadway, James Taylor/One Man Band for PBS, and WNET’s studio at Lincoln Center.
