                    About the Award:

The Technology Leadership Awards go to executives who have made notable contributions to improve the way their companies and the industry has used or deployed technology that have led the TV, digital, streaming and multichannel industries into new directions. It is open to anyone who works for the TV network, a TV station, TV station group, a cable, satellite, telco or virtual MVPD, providers of streaming services, SVOD providers, producers of TV or movie content, TV and movie studios and someone who creates and oversees digital products at a company involved in the TV, movie or multichannel TV business. These awards have not in the past been given to vendors who sell technologies or services to the TV, multichannel, movie studios and video production industries.

A tradition since 1998, Broadcasting + Cable salutes the accomplishments of select technology executives from broadcast networks, TV stations, pay-TV providers, streaming services and programming producers in the annual B+C Technology Leadership Awards. Award recipients are profiled in the magazine and physical awards are given out at the VIP, invitation-only ceremony held in conjunction with the Technology Leadership Summit, March 5-6 in Atlanta. Recipients are chosen by the editors of B+C based on innovative use or development of technologies that are leading the TV, digital, streaming and multichannel industries in new directions.
